About this release

Overlords of Cold is the debut full-length album by Dutch metallic hardcore band Trenchwar. Combining aggressive hardcore with sludge metal, groove-heavy riffs and old-school metal influences, the album moves between short bursts of speed and slower, oppressive passages. The band's sound draws from the intensity of hardcore and the weight of traditional extreme metal.
