About this release

Anthropic Rites of Sublimation is the second full-length album by German blackened death metal band Ch'ahom. Built around a fictional civilization inspired by pre-Hispanic cultures, the record combines cavernous death metal, chaotic black metal passages and progressive structures. Its five compositions explore ritual, sacrifice and the creation of belief systems through a dense and oppressive extreme metal atmosphere.
