About this release

Monark is the second full-length album by Swedish black metal duo Blodtår. The record combines melodic Scandinavian black metal with folk-inspired passages and atmospheric compositions. Drawing on Nordic musical traditions, the album moves between aggressive black metal and more reflective melodies, exploring personal loss, transformation and the contrast between darkness and light.
